Mission Beach

Courte halte a Mission Beach sur le chemin de Cairns, ou vivent les derniers cassoars, et ou, a part la "beach" ma foi, pas grand chose a faire!...
Short stop in Mission Beach on the way to Cairns, renowned for the (endangered) cassowaries and its...beach!, probably the only interest...

...mais il faut plus que des eaux infestees de meduses pour gacher la fete et nous improvisames pique nique sur la plage...
...sand and unswimmable waters wouldn't spoil the party though and we improvised a beach picnic...

...balades...
...a walk on the beach...

...jeux de ballons, sans ballons mais la noix de coco sait se reveler utile...
...ball games, without ball, but coconuts can be useful...

...alors que les enfants firent joujou avec le sable...
...whilst the children played in the sand...



...pendant le repos du guerrier.
...whilst the boss enjoyed a well deserved nap.

...la nuit commencant à tomber, et ne souhaitant pas nous manger un kangourou, nous nous arretames à Lucinda, célèbre pour son interessante jetée à cane à sucre (je vous rappelle que vous êtes dans le Queensland!)...
...night fell upon us, and, not wanting to make (car) contact with kangaroos, we stopped at Lucinda, famous for that worthy landmark, the sugarcane jetty (remember you're in Queensland!)!

...il a beau essayer, c'est moi le plus grand!
...he can try as much as he wants, i'm still the tallest!
